Medical Consulting
Anthill Alliance works closely with our partner, the Rural Health Team, to augment community care with annual medical consulting trips coordinated with international medical personnel. These trips enable providers to collaborate and learn from each other, sharing new techniques for delivering evidence-based care in low-resourced settings. Past projects have included eye exams, small-scale surgical care, and other specialties. To find out more information and learn how to join a future consulting team, please contact us.
Our next medical mission is scheduled for late January 2026 and will be led by board member Larry Rhodes.
Educational Projects
We work closely with our partners in Uganda to provide textbooks, develop resource rooms, undertake specialized training, and provide a range of other educational assets. Anthill Alliance emphasizes keeping girls safe and in school, along with reproductive health and rights.
Anthill Alliance also maintains a scholarship program that connects sponsors with students needing financial support to continue their education, helping students at any point in their education from primary school through university. Individuals who have been involved in this program have gone on to become medical doctors, lawyers, and administrators working with our partners in Uganda, as well as community leaders in their own right. Water Access
Anthill Alliance is also partnering with community organizations to provide access to clean water. This includes drilling and maintaining modern wells in local communities.
Future Projects
Anthill Alliance is developing a pioneering emergency fund to provide urgent medical treatment to patients in extreme poverty facing acute medical emergencies. Check back here for updates on beneficiaries of this program and how to donate to this fund.
